Fabrique Pola is a place gets fresh ideas and a network of skills in the service of the professional structuring of the visual arts on the scale of piece of New-Aquitaine.
It is based in the 2000s by artists authors and cultural actors who act and invent collectively the ways to favor a sustainable development of the artistic sector and/or the artistic and cultural initiatives of the territory.
Anchored in the values of the voluntary and united sector, this place-tool of cooperations gives itself the means to gather all the stages of a project since its creation in its distribution, to mobilize and to organize in house the skills necessary for its realization, its valuation, its transmission and its consolidation.
Fabrique Pola counts among its 70 inhabitants, every authors and actors of the project (visual artists and cultural structures), professionals who work and practise in fields so varied and complementary as the architecture, the contemporary art, the edition, the performance, the photography, the broadcasting, the graphics, the screenprinting, the town planning, the landscape painting, and the design.
In spring, 2019, Pola will unfold in big and will spread durably its continuous-flow radiuses of action, in edge of the Garonne, in the former warehouse of the right bank of Bordeaux in the course of rehabilitation. 4000 m2 of the Factory articulated around spaces of work and formations, shops of production, experiments and free and public areas of distribution: Polarium, Petite Galerie, La Cuisine, Station Service, Bancs Publics, Supérette, and Le Jardin, so many rooms to be lived and to be practised.
