Five winners were selected in each of the five categories General Literature, Scientific Books/Reference Books/School and Textbooks, Guidebooks, Non-Fiction Books, Art Books, Photo Books, Exhibition Catalogues and Children’s Books, Young People’s Books.
These selected books are exemplary in design, conception and processing and show a wide range of design and manufacturing possibilities (quote from press release Stiftung Buchkunst, 13 June 2022). The Stiftung Buchkunst places the book as an art object in the focus of its work and organizes the annual competition Most Beautiful German Books.
