The vineyards of Bordeaux are home to a large number of castles, it extends north to the Haut Médoc and the coasts of Blaye, and south to the Bordeaux Supérieur, through the Saint-Emilion, Entre Deux Mers , Graves and Sauternes.
The wine routes cross this vast territory, offering an oenological and touristic route.
It is a landscape almost entirely occupied by the vineyards.But what catches my attention in these landscapes are not the castles, but the agricultural buildings that surround them; the wine cellar, the warehouse, the enclosing walls, the annexes, all the vertical walls on which the owners inscribe their name, the name of the château or the vineyard… F.L
