Opened in Bègles in 1989, the Création Franche museum explores the territories of outsider art, folk art and naive art. It containes the Création Franche Collection, rich of 20 000 works. Ten exhibitions a year, of which the international group show Visions et Créations Dissidentes, are highly prized by amateurs and collectors. In addition to the exhibitions, different gatherings are proposed here : meetings and debates, exploration days or multidisciplinary activities.
At same time, the Création Franche museum has developed a small editorial activity and publishes in particular the Création Franche review.
